MULTILINGUAL SUMMER

CAMP 2019

 

Welcome to the Caribbean School of Languages Summer Camp 2019! This year's theme is Languages and Arts.

 

Our Camp is offered to two groups:

 

Kids - Between 7 and 11 years old (Primary School students)

 

Teens - Between 12 and 17 years old (Secondary School students)

 

This is a two-week Camp designed to get participants involved in the learning of foreign languages as well as in VAPA (Visual and Performing Arts).

 

Activities start at 9:00 am and end at 3:00 pm. Recess is at 10:30 am and lunch is from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.

 

Some of the activities include:

  • Learning French and Spanish with native speakers through fun activities, interactive audio and video material, music and games.

  • Developing life skills by learning to cook culturally varied dishes from around the world.

  • Improving rhythmic coordination and linguistic abilities through dance and music in foreign languages.

  • Developing their artistic appreciation and creativity with bilingual activities including art and craft.

  • Using technology wherever possible as a tool to accomplish meaningful learning goals.

  • Honing their decision-making skills and team-work by getting involved in group projects such as Film-Making, Song Projects, Fake News Skits, etc.

  • Taking part in competitions and projects with an opportunity to win prizes.
     

Participants may bring their snacks and lunches. However, snacks, beverages and lunches are sold at our cafeteria as well. Please note that lunch must be ordered in advance.

All participants get CSL Camp 2019 t-shirts that must be worn at all times at the Camp.

REGISTRATION: $200 (non-refundable)

TWO-WEEK CAMP: $1000 (paid by 12th JULY 2019)
