Our Bilingual programme is designed to enable our students to become ‘global citizens’ brinding together a wide range of expertise to explore the cultural complexities, diversity, communities, values an in-depth understanding of Francophone and Hispanic different cultures.
Our enjoyable Bilingual programme with qualified teachers will help deal with real life situations and tackle DELE/DELF exams by learning in a practical way. Students will develop key skills and knowledge in: reading, writing, listening and speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, intercultural awareness, communication skills and study skills.
Students do not require any prior knowledge of Spanish or French to start. They will receive comprehensive language skillset which are beneficial to the world in any career path nationally and internationally or long-term learning goals.

The DELE and DELF Diplomas hold global recognition, respected by institutions, educational authorities, and the business community. Students receive exam preparation courses each term and may if required take the DELE & DELF examinations to achieve their university applications, career goals, and long-term learning objectives.

What skills will I practise and develop?

- The ability to communicate at an intermediate level B1 in writing and speech, in English, French and Spanish.

Course structure
International Students:
- Complete High school.

Domestic Students:
- Passes in any two (2) units CAPE or GCE A-level subjects, OR Minimum of three (3) CSEC (CXC)/GCE O’Level subjects, inclusive of English A and mathematics, Grades 1,2,3* or A,B,C.

- The academic year is divided into two semesters of 13 weeks each. Each term consists of a period of teaching, revision/directed learning and assessment.
- All CSL terms cover the contents of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) of the Council of Europe, DELE Exams by the Instituto Cervantes and DELF Exams by the French Ministry of Education. This allows our students to have a full understanding of where they are in relation to all major international standards.

Term I: A1 Beginner
Our CEFR level A1 students can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and phrases in a limited & familiar topics. They can interact simply with native speakers as long as the other person speaks slowly and clearly.
Term II: A2 Pre-Intermediate
Our CEFR level A2 is sufficient for tourism in a Spanish/French speaking country and socializing with native speakers, although it allows for networking with colleagues but in a limited & familiar topics.
Term III: B1 Intermediate
Our CEFR level B1 would be sufficient for interactions with native speakers on familiar topics. In the workplace, people at a B1 level are able to read simple reports on familiar topics and write emails on subjects in their field.
Assessments typically fall into six broad categories:
- Individual & group presentations,
- Language portfolios,
- Project projects
- Written exams,
- Coursework
- Independent/Collaborative study: This may include preparation for lessons, completion of assessment tasks, or revision.
On successful completion of the programme (Term I, Term II, Term III), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion and Transcript awarded by the CSL. In order to get a Pass, students must obtain at least 60% of the overall grade.
Certificates of Completion and Transcripts are prerequisites for the next higher level and will be considered as such for a period of one (1) year. After a year has elapsed, students may have to take a placement test to move forward.
