Our Academic Methodology

Students will develop a competitive edge through our innovative programme, bringing clarity to their future study and career ambitions or long-term learning goals.

INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Students at CEFR C1 level will have the option to spend several days away from home at a partner institution abroad and may have the opportunity to work as a language assistant or undertake a work (or volunteering) placement, for a complete and enjoyable educational experience.

Our Certificate in Spanish as a Foreign Language are divided into five CEFR course levels:

A2 Pre-intermediate Diploma (Term I)

Course length: 12 weeks

Our CEFR level A2 is sufficient for tourism in a Spanish-speaking country and socializing with Spanish speakers, although it allows for networking with Spanish-speaking colleagues but in a limited & familiar topics.

B1 Intermediate Diploma (Term II)

Course length: 12 weeks

Our CEFR level B1 would be sufficient for interactions with Spanish speakers on familiar topics. In the workplace, people at a B1 level of Spanish are able to read simple reports on familiar topics and write simple emails on subjects in their field. However, a B1 level is not adequate to function fully in the workplace in Spanish.

B2 Advanced Diploma (Term III)

Course length: 12 weeks

Our CEFR level B2 would allows to function in the workplace in Spanish, and indeed, many non-native Spanish speakers in workplaces have this level of Spanish at entry level positions and may lack nuance particularly outside his own field. Students may lead to new opportunities professionally and get admission for college abroad.

C1 Superior Diploma

The CEFR level C1 allows for a full range of functionality at work or in an academic setting. Students can produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects beyond their own field, developing particular points and rounding off with an appropriate conclusion. Also, can function independently on a wide variety of subjects and in almost any setting without any prior preparation.

C2 Mastery Diploma

Our CEFR level C2 is essentially a master level. Students can express spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in more complex situations and actively participating in any academic or professional setting. Preparing for and passing the DELE exam means students have the level of Spanish that’s needed to study or work in a senior professional or academic environment, for example the Certificate in Translation (English<>Spanish) Qualifications level 6 UK, any postgraduate course, or PhD programme.
