Lessons per Week
The Spanish Level C1.2 is for students who have succesfully completed Spanish Level C1.1 or who have been placed at this level based on CSL’s placement test.
This level covers the contents at C1.2 of the Common European Framework of Reference of Languages (CEFR) of the Council of Europe. The communicative approach is applied in all language for international communication courses.
Participants will develop the four language skills, i.e. listening, reading, writing and speaking simultaneously while learning grammatical structures and vocabulary related to the level as well as an appreciation of the culture of the countries where the language is spoken.
Evaluation and certification:
Some of the evaluation components include group projects, assignments, oral presentations and tests in the four language skills: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.
At the end of this level, students are entitled, on request, to obtain a Transcript. In order to obtain a Pass, students must have at least 75% attendance and a pass mark of 60%.
Certificates of Completion issued by the CSL are awarded on successful completion of all eight (8) levels of the Spanish for International Communication programme.
International certification is obtained by way of external examinations awarding the Spanish as a Foreign Language Diploma (DELE) at the various levels.
